None so far... I expect it to be closer to the end of the year before a production piece is in fact ready.

Rest assured that EVERY time I talk to Shawn, I am bugging him about the intercooler... and we talk ALOT !!!

Isnt the liquid intercooler already out? Is this a new design?

From what I hear the liquid IC is pretty ineffective for what you pay, correct?

We certainly need that intercooler. Look at the heat rise in the intake manifold of the JRSC during my 15 min stroll through town last night.

I've been a little careful with my setup until I have it dialed in, so I only revved the engine to 7200. Air temp peaked at 179 deg F. eek

I'm wondering what's gonna happen when I rev it to 8500 numerous times on the dyno.

The intercooler that they are talking about is new. It is a water to air intercooler setup. It supposedly will reside right betweem the supercharger and the intake manifold....or be part of the intake manifold. NICE!!

Hey Sonnyballs, you could do paid research for people with that! I know if you had a GSR similar to mine I'd cook up a few scenarios to graph.

It looks like you are idling for a few minutes and during this time the intake temp. goes up. I always find my engine bay is hottest in grid BEFORE a run. I'm sure a cowl induction hood would help all of us. Too bad it looks so domestic!

Guys,

That run was done after I had done a quick spin around the block to verify that I had no fuel leaks. I drove it around the block, came home and parked it for 20 mins, then I left to get some dinner.

So, the car was already warm when I took it into town, but I didn't spend much time idling. It seems that even when the car is moving, heat soak from the head and blower heat up the air quite a bit. frown
